Silent (a sonic piece):
Once, I was alone in the world
and the world was silent.
The wind didn’t blow
The cars didn’t honk
The cows didn’t moo
The birds didn’t sing.
Once, I was alone in the world
and all I could hear was the squishy sound of my tongue getting chopped into small pieces by my own teeth just before I swallowed them one by one
the moist squelch of my tongue being relentlessly pulverized by my own teeth just before I gulped each and every piece
one by
one
the wet crunch of my tongue being ground by the force of my own teeth each piece dissolving in my mouth like a bitter pill tiny enough for me to gobble
