Artist Placement
Skunk without k is Sun is an experimental three-act, audio-described, solo opera, created and performed by Louise Ahl. The show performed at the Take Me Somewhere festival 2023 in Glasgow.
During my artist placement with Louise in September-December 2023, I was responsible for operating the large curtain shown in the pictures below, which was chereograped into the show, shadowing and attending one-on-one rehearsals with the artist, participating in production and creative meetings, assisting in altering the costume and set, and being on-hand backstage during the show.
I will be working as the stage manager, access support and operator at the show's upcoming international tour.
